ــــــ The Founder
Máté Kelemeny
Founder & Sauna Master
A European tradition. A personal passion. A new experience for American wellness.
My name is Máté Kelemeny, and I’m a professional Sauna Master with roots in Hungary and a deep appreciation for European sauna culture. Across Europe, sauna is more than a place to experience heat—it is a ritual shaped by atmosphere, aromas, movement, and connection.
When I came to the United States, I saw an opportunity to share that tradition in a new setting. I wanted to introduce more people to the artistry and immersive experience of authentic Aufguss rituals, while helping wellness destinations create meaningful moments for their guests.
That vision became Aufguss Elite.
Through each ritual, we combine aromatic oils, choreographed towel techniques, and thoughtful heat management to create an experience that engages the senses and encourages guests to slow down, disconnect, and be fully present.
We created Aufguss Elite to share a European tradition we love and help bring its artistry, energy, and sense of connection to more people across the United States.
"The goal is not simply to create heat. It is to create an experience your guests remember."
